DeFacto
Research conducted by InfoLight.UA Research and Analysis Group to track and refute disinformation
The DeFacto project by the InfoLight.UA Research and Analysis Group is a comprehensive initiative aimed at systematically tracking, analyzing, and refuting Russian disinformation in the Ukrainian information space. As part of the project, the team conducts regular research, including monthly monitoring of the “Top 40 Ukrainian public figures quoted by Russian propaganda,” identifies networks to counter mobilization, and analyzes Russia's strategies in the information war against Ukraine. Using innovative methods, including AI technologies in cooperation with the Osavul platform, DeFacto not only refutes specific fakes, but also develops analytical materials and provides detailed information that contributes to the development of critical thinking among Ukrainians.
