This was reported by Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar. In particular, she emphasized that the topic of exchanges remains “extremely sensitive” and urged not to disseminate information about the details of the rescue process in order not to harm it. “The publication of personal data of prisoners of war and missing persons on social media may harm their safety and complicate the process of negotiations on the exchange,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry calls on relatives of prisoners of war and missing persons to trust information about their loved ones only to state-authorized institutions. In particular, this refers to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, which operates on the basis of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and is located at the address. Kyiv, ul. 37 Spasskaya Street.

At the same time, Malyar noted that recent weeks have become significant in the issue of prisoner of war exchanges. Yesterday it became known that ten more Ukrainian defenders had been released.
