According to InfoLight.UA’s intelligence sources, soldiers of special units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were sent to Chasovyi Yar to strengthen the defense of this key settlement in the agglomeration that includes Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka and Sloviansk.
“The GURs have been holding positions in this area for two weeks.
According to our sources, their presence has helped to stabilize the situation, so there are fewer disturbing reports coming out of the region, although the situation remains tense in other areas.
This is reminiscent of the beginning of the large-scale invasion, when special forces were also actively defending the borders and cities in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
