According to Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, on Saturday evening, the Russians launched another Kalibr missile carrier into the Black Sea, bringing the number of missile carriers to four.
“As of this morning, 3 missile launchers were spotted, one of them underwater, and in the evening they were joined by another underwater missile launcher.
The total potential volley is currently 24 Kalibr missiles, 4 missile launchers are part of the ship group, the total number of which has increased to 14 units.”
Natalia Humeniuk said, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
At the same time, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports that in Belarus “a motorized rifle battalion and two tank battalions were tasked with moving to areas bordering the state border of Ukraine.”
The information provided is objective and comes from competent sources authorized to do so. However, none of these reports says that the threat is imminent, especially with regard to the Belarusian offensive.
Accordingly, in the event of a possible missile attack, if it occurs and if there are problems with communication, one should not believe the information about an “offensive from Belarus.” As of now, their grouping is not enough to launch an offensive against Ukraine in 2022. And in a few days, they are unable to build it up to the required amount.
