Israel has provided Ukraine with all the necessary components to launch an early warning system, which is currently in the final stages of implementation. This was announced by Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk during a speech at the V Kyiv Jewish Forum, reports Ukrinform reports.
“The Israeli side has fully provided everything necessary to create an early warning system. We are already at the final stage of its launch. In fact, part of the system is already in operation, including Israeli-made three-dimensional radars that the Ukrainian military is already using today,” Korniychuk said.
The ambassador also emphasized the interconnection between the war in Ukraine and the challenges faced by Israel. According to him, the common enemies of both countries are Iran and its proxies, supported by the Russian Federation.
“We have common partners and enemies – Iran and its proxies. Huge warehouses of Russian weapons produced last year were used in Lebanon. I will not be surprised if North Korean missiles are found there tomorrow. This is part of a single “axis of evil” today,” the diplomat emphasized.
As a reminder, in June 2023, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced that the Ukrainian and Israeli militaries were working together to implement an early warning system in Poland, which would later be used in Ukraine.
