Research and analysis group InfoLight.UA is launching a new project aimed at supporting independent local media, covering events in the frontline cities and de-occupied territories of Ukraine. The project “Strengthening the voice of frontline media: A Partnership for Greater Impact” aims to help hyperlocal media to to expand their audience and increase their influence on the information space.
“We are convinced that it is extremely important to tell the news in frontline cities. National and international media pay attention mainly to high-profile events, but in these towns and villages, everyday life goes on, and the people who live there, as well as journalists , who are often also civil society activists, should be heard,” says Yuriy Honcharenko, project manager, .
Key features of the project:
- Free placement of local media content on a special aggregator.
- Targeted advertising to increase the audience of partner media.
- Pre-moderation of content to prevent the spread of misinformation.
- Technical partnership with the Osavul platform for tracking malicious narratives based on artificial intelligence.
The project is open to officially registered media and initiative groups, seeking to expand their audience and increase their influence. Special attention will be paid to media from the frontline areas.
