On the eve of YomOn the eve of Yom Kippur (the Day of Judgement), Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Yaakov Dov Bleich blessed the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine , Kyrylo Budanov.
“I was privileged to bless a legendary man, the head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, with a good, sweet and victorious year for a legendary man – the head of the GUR , Kirill Alekseevich Budanov,” said Rabbi Bleich.
The spiritual leader of the Jewish community of Ukraine expressed his wish that the Almighty protect the defenders of Ukraine.
Yom Kippur is the most important holiday in Judaism, a day of fasting, repentance and absolution. This year it falls on 11 October.
