A charity concert of the popular Ukrainian band “Dance on Congo Square” (TNMK) took place in the Austrian capital Vienna. One of the band’s soloists, Oleksandr “Fozzy” Sydorenko, decided to use the stage to congratulate the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, on his promotion from major general to lieutenant general.
The musician called the country’s chief intelligence officer “the best cotton producer,” and then addressed the Russians on his behalf. This was reported by OBOZREVATEL.
According to the artist, the GUR asked them to contact Russians who apparently fled Russia for Austria but have relatives in the terrorist country. “Fozzy” told them that for “potential” occupiers who have been mobilized or may be called up, Ukraine has a state program called “I Want to Live.”
The performer, on behalf of the lieutenant general, who was greeted by the audience with a loud ovation, addressed the audience from the aggressor state in Russian: “Ukraine has a state program called “I Want to Live”. By contacting the hotline, Russian soldiers can surrender. 22 thousand Russians have already contacted the hotline because they have only two options in Ukraine: either to become a good Russian or a prisoner. They will be held under the Geneva Convention, and they will save their lives. In short, Russians, surrender!”
Before that, the musicians made a similar appeal to the Russians during a performance in Prague and posted it on their Instagram page.
