The Security Service of Ukraine detained two FSB agents in Donetsk region who were adjusting Russian army strikes on Ukrainian positions in the Kramatorsk and Novopavlivka directions.

The detainees were a 41-year-old nurse and a 56-year-old driver for a private company. They were acting separately, but both were fulfilling tasks received from the same supervisor, a representative of the FSB military counterintelligence.

The perpetrators collected information about fortifications, artillery positions, and routes of Ukrainian military convoys, passing it on to the occupiers. They received the data through an acquaintance who moved to Russia in 2022 and was recruited by the FSB to create an agent network in Kramatorsk.

The SBU timely exposed and documented their activities, preventing possible attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian military. Both detainees were served a notice of suspicion under Part. 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason under martial law).

They were taken into custody and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property. Measures are also underway to bring to justice the organizer of the agent network cooperating with the FSB in Russia.
