The DeepL company, known for its high-precision text translations, has introduced a new service – DeepL Voice. This technology allows for instant speech-to-text translation during a conversation, ensuring fast and accurate information processing.

DeepL Voice supports languages such as English, German, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, French, Turkish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Italian. Translated subtitles are available for all 33 languages supported by DeepL Translator, according to Vector.

Currently, the service is integrated with Microsoft Teams, which allows you to display translations as subtitles during video calls. The company plans to expand support to other platforms in the future.

Jarek Kutylowski, founder and CEO of DeepL, said that voice translation will become a key area of development in the coming years. DeepL Voice is the company’s first product in the field of voice translation, and it is expected that new features, such as audio translation, will be added in the future.

DeepL emphasizes that data protection remains a priority: voice recordings are not stored or used to train models, which ensures user privacy.
