The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine continue to eliminate new schemes of mobilization evasion:
Odesa region – law enforcement officers detained two citizens – one of them, while holding the position of anti-corruption commissioner at an enterprise, engaged another who had the necessary connections in the TCC. In exchange for $17,000, they promised the man to remove him from the military register.
Sumy region – a couple of philanthropists, involving two accomplices, provided conscripts with travel outside Ukraine for $8,000, and issued volunteer “crusts” for 500 euros.
Cherkasy region – for $5,000, the defendant promised a man liable for military service to influence the decision of the military medical commission to declare him unfit by forging a medical certificate.
Khmelnytsky region – an official of the Khmelnytsky Regional Military Medical Center was caught on bribery – a lieutenant colonel demanded 2 thousand dollars from a man with a nervous disease for declaring him unfit.
Donetsk region – law enforcement officers exposed the head of a district military commissariat department who was removing conscripts from the military register on the basis of fake certificates from the military medical commission for 15 thousand hryvnias.
The defendants were served a notice of suspicion (in accordance with the crimes committed) under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ part 1 of Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the lawful activities of the AFU and other military formations);
▪️ part. 3 Art. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official);
▪️ h. 3 Art. 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine committed by an organized group);
▪️ part 1 Art. 366 (forgery);
▪️ part 4 Art. 368-3 (bribery of an official of a legal entity of private law regardless of legal form, committed repeatedly or by prior conspiracy by a group of persons);
▪️ parts. 2, 3 Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence).
The offenders face 8 to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
