In Gudermes, an unknown drone attacked the Russian “Putin Special Forces University”. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the roof of one of the buildings of the educational institution.

This was announced by the so-called head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

“Today at 6:30 a.m. in Gudermes, the roof of an empty building on the territory of the Russian Special Forces University caught fire as a result of an unmanned aerial attack. There were no casualties or injuries. The fire is out,” Kadyrov wrote.

According to analysts, this incident is likely to be a continuation of the conflict between the leadership of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Ingushetia. The confrontation erupted in September this year over a dispute over ownership of the Russian chain Wildberries.

It is worth noting that in a clash in the center of Moscow, Chechen militants killed two Ingush men guarding the company’s office. Later, Kadyrov announced a “blood revenge” against the member of the Federation Council from Dagestan, billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, as well as two State Duma deputies, Bekhan Barakhoyev and Rizvan Kurbanov. This was followed by a series of shooting and arson incidents in the Caucasus republics.

The version of an internal conflict is also confirmed by the fact that the Russian Defense Ministry did not report any UAV attacks on Chechnya. According to them, on the night of October 29, two drones were intercepted over the Belgorod region, two over the Bryansk region, two over the Kursk region, and one over the Black Sea.

It is important that no structure of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine has claimed an attempt to attack the university, which is hardly a strategic target for the Ukrainian side.
