The State Bureau of Investigation has exposed a criminal scheme organized by employees of the Holosiivskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (RTSC) and the Military Medical Commission (MMC) in Kyiv, which facilitated the illegal evasion of thousands of persons liable for military service.
Three RTCC officials and three civilians involved in the scheme were detained. During the searches, more than $1.2 million in cash and a luxury car fleet, including 11 premium cars, were seized. The services of deregistration were offered at a price ranging from $2,000 to $15,000.
The criminal group produced forged documents for the evaders, which indicated their unfitness for military service. This operation is part of a large-scale anti-corruption campaign initiated under the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine aimed at combating illegal actions in military medical and social commissions and recruitment centers.
