SBU Military CI detained another FSB agent in Donetsk region. He was a 22-year-old operator of unmanned aerial systems of one of the combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending the Kramatorsk direction. The agent was recruited in 2023 by FSB officer Dmitry Sorokolotov.
The contractor passed the location of his UAV unit to the enemy special service, which was adjusting fire on Russian troops attacking Chasiv Yar. The occupiers planned to use this data to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military. Inaddition, the agent tried to pass on the coordinates of other AFU units in the area.
The SBU detected the traitor in time and prevented enemy attacks. During the searches, the SBU found mobile phones with evidence of cooperation with the enemy. The traitor was served a notice of suspicion under Part. 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason under martial law). He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
