In Kyiv region, operatives and investigators exposed the head of the Interregional Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) for falsely diagnosing citizens of military age, which allowed them to receive disabilities, avoid mobilization and go abroad. According to the investigation, the official knew that these people had no grounds for disability, but still entered false diagnoses in the documents. On the basis of these false documents, a decision was made to postpone mobilization, which made it possible to leave Ukraine during martial law – Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine
During the searches, a significant amount of money and copies of medical documents were seized from the suspect. He is now charged with forgery in office (Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and illegal transportation of persons across the border (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). If proven guilty, the accused faces up to seven years in prison and a possible restriction on holding certain positions for up to three years.
The case was brought to court under the procedural supervision of the Bila Tserkva Specialized Defense Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Region of Ukraine.
