Russian border guards at Sheremetyevo airport have demonstrated a new level of paranoia by stopping a passenger because of her tattoo. According to the information widely spread by Russian telegram channels, the woman was allegedly denied entry to the Russian Federation because of the image on her body of Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Although the authenticity of the incident has not been officially confirmed, the scale of the story ‘s spread suggests that it may be beneficial to the Russian authorities, that it could be beneficial to the Russian authorities. Perhaps in this way they are trying to demonstrate the”vigilance” of the security forces or to fuel the hysteria around Budanov ‘s personality.

If the incident did take place, it indicates an absurd level of fear of the Ukrainian military leader. It is possible that Russian border guards will soon begin to scrutinize the entire body of each passenger in search of”embarrassing” images.

It is worth noting that such actions on the part of the Russian authorities only emphasize the effectiveness of the Ukrainian special services. After all , when an ordinary tattoo causes such panic, it indicates the serious psychological pressure that Russian security forces are under.
