Yesterday, November 9, a successful attack on a car carrying Russian border guards took place in the Bryansk region of Russia. According to Astra and Baza sources, the incident took place around 16:00 in the village of Ulytsia, where an “unknown person opened fire with small arms at a UAZ-Patriot car belonging to the FSB.

As a result of the attack, the deputy head of the FSB logistics department, Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Shaty, was killed.

“The Russian Volunteer Corps, which is fighting against Russian troops on the side of Ukraine, later claimed that it was their fighters who were behind the operation. Their official Telegram message states that a sabotage and reconnaissance group successfully attacked an enemy vehicle and that a video of the operation will be released soon.

The video, which was published on the official channel of the RDC, shows a fragment of an operation during which soldiers crossed the Russian border and destroyed an FSB vehicle, resulting in the lieutenant colonel’s death. The fighters described it as a “short video report on a successful attack,” emphasizing the professionalism of their actions.
